More than being known for its promising future, Pune has an interesting history behind it. The 'Queen of the Deccan', for long has served as a strategic part of the Maratha defense and also the home to the legendary hero Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The beautiful land and its grand forts are a testament to the glorious past of the city.

Pune, today, is the cultural capital of Maharashtra and is on its way to become the cosmopolitan city. Recently, I went to this beautiful city for a business meeting. This was my first time in the city; my office had booked my stay at the Lemon Tree Hotel, Hinjawadi. This wonderful hotel is located in the heart of Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park. Just off the Mumbai expressway (NH 4), this hotel is a short distance away from Infosys, Wipro, Tata Technologies, Cognizant, Persistent and Symbiosis Institute.

I was pretty excited to stay at this hotel as I had heard a lot about it and indeed this hotel is the perfect business hotel in Pune. The moment I entered the hotel, the warm and cheery smiles on the front desk officer’s face and the faint lemon aroma in the air, shooed the tiredness away.  The hotel staffs are really helpful and are available round the clock to help you out.

What I liked the most about this hotel was the superior in-room amenities that it offers and that too at a budget price and there are always chances that you’ll end up finding a nice hotel deal in Pune helping you save a lot more on your stay.

 My days were mostly caught up in work and my nights were mostly spent at their vibrant café. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and in the blink of an eye, that’s what I feel, my trip came to an end. I would love to go back to this hotel for another wonderful stay, but this time I would definitely love to explore the city more!
